Please read this Disclaimer carefully before using Finlo. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms set forth below.

1. Not Financial Advice

Finlo is a personal finance tracking, budgeting, and organizational tool designed to help you manage your money. It is not a financial advisory service. All information provided by the App — including but not limited to the following — is for informational and organizational purposes only:

• Dashboard summaries, "Money Left" balances, and financial health indicators
• Spending insights, trend charts, category breakdowns, daily averages, and top expense rankings
• Budget calculations, progress percentages, and over/under-budget indicators
• Bill splitting calculations, including Equal Money Left and Proportional to Income methods, surplus calculations, and per-person breakdowns
• Weekly spending summaries, daily tracking data, and notification-based alerts
• Any other computed, aggregated, or displayed financial data within the App

Nothing in Finlo constitutes professional financial advice, tax advice, investment advice, legal advice, accounting advice, or any other form of professional consultation. You should always consult a qualified financial advisor, accountant, or other appropriate professional before making financial decisions.

2. Accuracy of Calculations

Finlo performs calculations based entirely on the data you manually enter. This means:

• Expense totals, spending summaries, and budget tracking are only as accurate as the expenses you record. If you miss logging an expense or enter an incorrect amount, your totals will not reflect reality.
• Budget progress indicators (how much you've spent vs. your budget limit) depend on consistent and complete expense logging against each budget category.
• Bill splitting calculations are based on the income amounts and bill figures you provide. Genssy does not verify whether the income or bill amounts you enter are accurate or current.
• Spending insights and analytics — including trend charts, category percentages, top expenses, and daily averages — are derived from your entered data and may not reflect your actual financial situation if data entry is incomplete.
• "Money Left" calculations are computed as income minus bills minus tracked expenses. This figure is an estimate based on your inputs and should not be relied upon as a definitive indicator of your actual available funds.

We do not independently verify, validate, or audit any data you enter. You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your inputs.

3. No Guarantee of Accuracy or Reliability

While we invest significant effort in ensuring Finlo functions correctly and reliably, we do not guarantee that:

• The App will be error-free, bug-free, or available without interruption at all times
• Calculations will be perfectly accurate in every edge case or scenario
• Budget recurrence logic (Daily, Weekly, Biweekly, Monthly, Yearly, Custom) will correctly handle every calendar scenario (e.g., leap years, month-length variations)
• Notification delivery (budget alerts, bill reminders, spending summaries) will be timely or guaranteed, as notification delivery depends on the iOS operating system
• iCloud Sync will function without data loss, delays, or conflicts across all devices and network conditions
• Widget data will always reflect the most up-to-date information, as widget refresh timing is managed by iOS

We strongly recommend using the Export Data feature regularly to maintain personal backups of your financial data in CSV or JSON format.

4. Data Loss

Because your data is stored locally on your device (and optionally in your personal iCloud account), data loss can occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Device damage, loss, theft, or factory reset
• iOS software updates or reinstallation of the App
• iCloud storage limits being reached or iCloud service disruptions
• Accidental deletion of data within the App

Genssy is not responsible for any data loss. We encourage you to maintain regular backups using the Export Data feature and to keep iCloud Sync enabled for added redundancy.

5. Third-Party Services

Finlo integrates with Apple platform services including iCloud (for data sync), the App Store (for Premium purchases), Face ID/Touch ID (for app security), WidgetKit (for home screen widgets), and the iOS notification system (for alerts). These services are provided by Apple Inc. and are subject to Apple's own terms, conditions, and service level agreements. We are not responsible for:

• The availability, uptime, or performance of any Apple service
• Changes Apple may make to these services that could affect Finlo's functionality
• Data stored in or transmitted through Apple's infrastructure

6. Financial Decisions

Any financial decisions you make — whether related to spending, saving, budgeting, bill payment, or any other matter — are entirely your own responsibility. Genssy shall not be held liable for any financial loss, missed payment, over-spending, budgeting errors, or other adverse outcomes that may result from your reliance on information displayed in or calculated by Finlo.

7. Use at Your Own Risk

Your use of Finlo is entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Genssy disclaims all liability for damages of any kind arising from or related to your use of the App. Please also review our Terms of Service for additional details on limitation of liability.

8. Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this Disclaimer periodically.
